Updated: Oct 9, 2020

Scroll down to the bottom for the full recipe and instructions!

You will need coconut cream, unsweetened cocoa powder, granulated sugar, sea salt, semi-sweet chocolate chips as well as pure vanilla extract.

First, combine the coconut cream and chocolate chips in a bowl. Place the mixture in a double boiler and stir until melted. If you don't have a double boiler put the ingredients in a glass bowl and place them over a pot of boiling water. Be sure that the water isn't touching the glass bowl. The double boiler will prevent the chocolate chips from burning.

Next, remove the melted mixture from the double boiler and stir in the rest of the ingredients while the mixture still hot.

Finally, pour the fondue into a bowl and served warm. Fondue can be served alongside fruits, pretzels, marshmallows or even on top of desserts.

If you mix too much you can pour it into a container and either store it in the fridge for up to two days or freeze for up to a month. Simply warm over a double boiler or in the microwave when you're ready to serve it again.
